**Job Description**:
With revenues in excess of $100M and the recent acquisition of KCI, 3M’s strategic commitment to invest in Health Care and extend our presence in the wound care market has never been greater. As the Sales Manager for medical solutions (MSD), you will leverage 3M’s science, market leading technologies, trusted brand and global reach to actively shape the wound care.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of sales plans for the business.
- Managing a team of 4, develop and improve sales team performance through coaching, identifying training needs, and mentoring.
- Develop country plan to ensure business opportunity is realized
- Develop customer value-based proposals to the wider business team
- Identify major tenders, contracts and pricing agreements for Singapore and ensure team has clarity around actions required to drive business growth
- Monthly performance conversations with all direct reports
Key Criteria
- Previous sales management experience in motivating and developing a team of salespeople.
- Comprehensive understanding of the hospital markets in Singapore
- Familiarity in the operating room environment is a plus
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to mix attention to detail, while having the ability to create a vision for the ‘big picture’.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information.
- Experience with interpreting and understanding financial information beneficial
