DESIGNATION : Assistant Director (IT Infrastructure & Network)

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the digital transformation strategy, facilitate the adoption of cloud vision and innovative technologies in driving business goals.
- Responsible for the IT service of infrastructure, network, systems storage, backup, and wireless network in fulfilling business strategic goals as well as needs and meeting project deliverables together with vendor management;
- Responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, including performance, integrity, and security; reporting service levels; tracking IT operational metrics, database (including planning, development, and troubleshooting); data integrity; and anti-virus/anti-spam protection. The second level is to troubleshoot network and systems infrastructure issues which are escalated by the support;
- Capacity planning to ensure enough server capacity for daily operations;
- Ensure IT infrastructure achieves an availability of at least 99.5% uptime a year;
- Perform system administrator (SA) tasks, including security, upgrading, and fine-tuning VMs;
- Review of logs
- Contribute to the development of IT strategies to align with the organizational strategies;
- Responsible for the administration of GB computer systems, including installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading servers, e.g., firewalls, DNS, Azure, VMs, Databases, etc.
- Manage, maintain and optimize core IT systems and services, including Active Directory (AD), AD Connect, M365, VMware, Networking, Firewalls, Antivirus subscription, Desktops, Routers, Wireless Lan Controllers, Backup Servers, servers, patch management on-premise VM and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Responsible for contract and Vendor management and service level agreements.
- Ensure and manage security operations in compliance with guidelines.
- Knowledge of network security and operations security.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Proven track record in IT operations management, vendor management, and network architecture design and planning
- Experience in hybrid cloud platforms, contract and vendor management
- Ability to work independently, plan and provide a technical solution
- Ability to manage stakeholders and vendors
- Ability in the writing of technical specifications
- Good analytical skill, written and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player, motivator and a hands-on person
