**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Purchase of spare parts, operating materials and consumables in coordination with ship’s crew and Technical/Marine Superintendent(s) by obtaining offers, conducting price comparisons and negotiating with suppliers. That includes coordination and processing of large orders for class renewals/dry dockings.Filling of purchase records in the procurement systemPlan, coordinate and follow up on the cost efficient and timely transport of purchased goodsMonitor vessel requisition forms and approve orders undern financial aspects Keep team leader(s) informed about possible problems with suppliers and also create transparency towards crew spare orders/deliveries towards the vessel’s crew.Ensuring compliance with all standards the company has implemented (i e ISM, ISO, etc).Assist relevant Superintendent(s) with handling of potential claims.**Job Requirement**
- Doehle Shipmanagement Pte Ltd Singapore is looking to recruit a Technical Purchaser for their new Ship Management setup in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for the purchasing of spare parts, operational materials and consumables of the assigned Container and Dry Bulk vessels and working closely with the Technical and/or Marine Superintendent(s) of the Team.- A motivated, driven and eager character interested to be part of building a new Ship Management by living newly established structures for the Technical Purchasing.

A well-structured, organized and good communicator that is also able to confidently handle urgent situations and has solid negotiation skills with suppliers.

Ideally you have already worked in the shipping industry and the field of Technical Purchase.

fluent written and spoken English enabling you to communicate and negotiate with global suppliers.
