**Job Scope for a Researcher at Nam Hwa Opera Limited
**To Execute and assist in Research, Publication, Seminar and Exhibition Programmes:
(1) **Research on Teochew Culture and Art**:

- Investigate the historical, social, cultural, and artistic aspects of the Teochew community, and analyse data on their traditions, customs, and heritage.

(2) **Documentation and Archiving**:

- Maintain detailed research records and manage digital and physical archives of Teochew cultural and art materials.

(3) **Collaboration**:

- Partner with universities, museums, cultural organizations, clan associations, and Huay Kuan for joint projects, and engage with other researchers and experts.

(4) **Educational Programs and Materials**:

- Create educational content on Teochew culture and art for workshops, lectures, and courses, and design and implement community outreach programs to promote cultural and art awareness.

(5) **Community Engagement**:

- Conduct interviews and surveys within the Teochew and art community to foster relationships with community leaders and members to support research initiatives.

(6) **Additional Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Research Center.
- Maintain the inventory database for items in the Research Center (e.g., books, magazines, vinyl records, etc.).
- Assist in marketing for the Research Center, including the monthly newsletter, and manage content for social media pages and the website.
- Perform other ad hoc duties, including supporting company in Opera and Music performances.

**Qualifications**:

- Working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may apply.
- Proficient in MS Office, photo editing and video editing software’s.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
