Manager, Finance Business Partner, Key Regional Accounts

Overview:
This role is a key member of the APAC Regional FP&A team supporting Vice President FP&A and CFO and managing key business partners across Key Regional Accounts. APAC is one of Mastercard’s high growth regions with a key strategic focus and priority for driving preference and delivering on long-term strategy. This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally with regional and global teams including all Key Stakeholders of APAC leadership team for eg. Regional CFO, Regional / Divisional Presidents, Product, Sales organization of Key accounts, DFO’s of various BU’s.

Role:
Key responsibilities:

- Supports the FP&A linked financial processes end to end through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives for Key Accounts.
- Implement and maintain processes to ensure effective and timely generation of Account level revenue forecasts and budgets.
- Support strategic planning sessions by developing engagement and reporting processes between RHQ, Divisions, Global teams and various functional groups.
- P&L Management: Gain an astute understanding of the full P&L for the Key Accounts, inclusive of all revenue and expense line items, in order to provide a holistic view of the business and support respective accounts to operate within the defined budgets and raise red flags as and when required.
- Financial business partner support in both strategic and BAU activities including liaison with Billings team, assistance in settlement of customer incentive claims, etc.
- Go to Finance person for Key Account leads / CFO in order to help drive Key Account strategy with valuable insights to drive prioritization and decisions making
- Work closely with Services/Product finance teams with analytics and insights in driving market share, CBA funded services across products and provide regular updates
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and review business cases for key initiatives / deals and strategies
- Analytics: Oversee the management & reporting of financials and provide relevant performance analyticsPrepare standard analytics and reporting on firm scheduled deadlines
- Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategies to enhance MasterCard profitability and competitive leverage. Providing consultative support, thought leadership, strategy development, innovative ideas and approaches to the Accounts Leadership team
- Assist on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling
- Working closely with APAC Divisions to understand the market level numbers and reasons for variance Vs budget and forecast
- Manage the FP&A team below responsible for management reporting for all areas including Revenue, Expense, profit, managerial Pnl, SPA, SIP, CAPP, Regional Scorecards, etc.
- Support continuous reviews of existing processes to assess operational efficiency and development and implementation of process improvements to ensure processes meet present and anticipated needs of internal customers, members, and other stakeholders
- Development of the strategic business plans and work to develop the annual plan and budget process for Key Accounts.
- Work closely with Regional Controllership team to ensure that month and quarter close are accurate and support controllers group with all the back ups and support they need for Key accounts actuals, forecast, budget etc.
- Work on co-brand/new deal proposals for the Key accounts as required from time to time.

Innovation
- Support continuous reviews of existing processes to assess operational efficiency and development and implementation of process improvements to ensure that processes meet the present and anticipated needs of internal customers, members, and other stakeholders

Knowledge:

- Specialized knowledge in management reporting - Chartered Accountant or CPA.
- Analytical and strategic. Have key insights across market opportunities.
- Broad based commercial awareness to manage risk versus return trade-offs.
