**About the role**

As the Group Head of Procurement, the successful incumbent will play a strategic role to ensure the prudent and efficient use of the Company funds via instituting sound and transparent procurement procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
The incumbent will:
a) Work with the Senior Leadership team to set the strategic direction for the Group’s procurement function to ensure that the Group’s practices are prudent, cost-efficient, and sustainable.

b) Review and implement procurement policies to safeguard the Company’s interest. The incumbent’s remit will be to also ensure that policies comply with (i) country-specific regulations; and (ii) Company-centric policies.

c) Establish and enhance the Company’s internal procurement controls, vendor management protocols, and procurement system procedures.

d) Act as the Company’s representative in contract negotiations and stakeholder engagement sessions.

**Job Requirements**

To thrive in the role, the incumbent should have / be:
a) Minimum 15 years of experience in Procurement, of which at least 5 years are in senior management / leadership capacity.

b) Demonstrated track record in project management, and stakeholder / vendor management.

c) Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

d) Enjoys working in a dynamic and result-oriented environment.
