**The Role**
The Staff Writer will be a full-time position ideally based in Hong Kong or Singapore. You will work closely with a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers, and predominantly focus on writing up press releases and company announcements with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy and clarity.
- The Staff Writer will be an excellent communicator, capable of working with members of different teams and developing good relationships with external press and investor relations contacts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Write breaking news stories based on company announcements
- Support a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers
**Requirements**:
- Excellent written and spoken English (Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia will be a bonus)
- Excellent writing skills, time management and communication skills
- Previous journalism experience or training preferred but not required
- Strong news sense, with an interest in financial news and markets
- Able to begin work at 8 a.m. HKT / SGT
- Strong attention to detail
