Singapore Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Full time

**Job Purpose**

The individual will join FX and Rates trading team in SMBC APAC division, and be responsible for market making and risk management in FX (NDF) products.

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage SMBC clients’ transactions and hedge the position in interbank market
- To maximize SMBC clients’ FX Product transaction number and volume, and revenue for the team.
- To enhance the whole Trading Desk to provide professional service for SMBC’s clients
- To adhere to all SMBC rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
- To collect market information and share them with SMBC colleagues

**Job Requirements**
- Good bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
- 3 to 10+ years experience in FX (NDF) as interbank trader
- Good working knowledge of FX spot, forward and options
- Knowledge of onshore markets and regulations in APAC region
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
- Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills
- Comfortable with data and model analysis
- Good team player with strong ethics
- Well read / interest in financial markets
