**Job Title: VP/Director FX Trader**

**Job Purpose**

The individual will join FX and Rates trading team in SMBC Global Markets & Treasury Asia Pacific division (GMTAP) and be responsible for market making and risk management in FX products

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage SMBC clients' transactions and hedge the position in interbank market
- To maximize SMBC clients' FX product transaction volume and revenue
- To enchance trading desk to provide top notch professional service to SMBC's clients
- To adhere all SMBC rules, regulations and compliance requirements
- Collect and update market information, provide insightful market comments to SMBC colleagues

**Job Requirements**
- Good bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
- 5-10 years experience in FX, specializing in SGD and THB markets
- Good working knowledge of FX spot, forward and options
- Knowledge of onshore markets and regulations in APAC region
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
- Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills
- Comfortable with data and model analysis
- Good team player with strong ethics
- Well read/interest in financial markets
