Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **GTRF Client Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- The purpose of this role is to broaden Receivable Finance (“RF”) business profile (internally and externally), expand products scope coverage and grow new business and deepen our wallet share from existing clients so as to maximise the revenue to meet strategic objectives which are in line with AOP/Strategic Plans
- Achieve growth in the Receivable Finance business and deliver the Total Operating Income as detailed in AOP/ Strategic Plans.
- Improve the credit quality of the Receivable Finance portfolios to safeguard the Bank from potential losses arising from B&D and Improve credit evaluation
- Ensure the delivery of first class service and support that consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university
- At least 2-3 years across 1-2 cross-functional business areas within HSBC or among our peer group of banks. This is to acquire broad experience, problem solving, strong commercial orientation and maturity
- Factoring Operational background is preferred but not a requirement
- Required to have good credit/product/market knowledge and broad commercial experience to make decisions and provide solutions for which precedence may not be available
