Operational Excellence- Enforce adoption of standard Payroll processes, identify service delivery issues and implement corrective actions-
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Keppel policy considerations and external regulatory requirements in all activities performed by the Payroll teamService Delivery- Provide day to day leadership of the Payroll function across the payroll processing, reporting and period end closing activities-
- Ensure service levels and targets are consistent with cost, quality and timeliness, and that service is delivered to customers in accordance with pre-defined Service Level Agreements-
- Establish goals and KPIs for each sub-team and evaluate team’s performance throughout the yearResource Management- Lead and manage Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing teams to ensure optimisation of resources to achieve service delivery targets-
- Oversee the training and development of Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing teams to ensure competency in performing all Payroll tasksCustomer Relations- Promote service-oriented culture and collaboration amongst the FSSC teams with a focus on delivering high quality end-to-end servicesJOB REQUIREMENTS- Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting / Business / Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience- Minimum 8 to 10 years of Finance / Accounting / HR working experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role- Must have experience in managing a Payroll team in a MNC or large organisation-
- Demonstrates experience in leading and managing teams and stakeholder partnering- Demonstrates ability to track, monitor, and communicate relevant KPIs / problems / issues and suggest alternative approaches or recommendations- Experienced user of Finance ERP systems; knowledge of ticketing tools is advantageous
