About the team
The success of TikTok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs. Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth. Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management.

About the role
We are looking for a highly capable and independent Data Operations Specialist to manage our machine learning labeling pipelines, the success of which would lay a solid foundation and ensure high performance of our machine learning solutions. You will be following the end-to-end delivery of various labeling projects, understanding the machine learning context and clarifying the detailed requirements, collaborating with key stakeholders to solve different types of problems that might occur during the labeling process, and providing data support to drawing deeper insights when necessary.

Responsibility
What you will do
- Work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements for data labeling projects
- Support data product managers in prioritising the labeling project backlog
- Track the progress of data labeling projects and manage resources to ensure timely completion
- Enhance on the service and quality of labelled data delivery
- Expose to various machine learning techniques and business use-cases
- Experience the entire model pipeline from data gathering to model delivery and maintenance

What you will need
- Solid foundations of maths and algorithms, and data project management is preferred
- Outstanding skill of communication, collaboration, project management, excellent team player and strong ownership
- Strong interest in process optimisation and improvement
- Highly conscientious
- Interest in machine learning/model training
- Experience in BI tools, data visualizations, one general purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python) would be required
- Experience and knowledge in artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, large-scale distributed systems and other fields are highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Excel and SQL is strongly required
