Data Operations Specialist

As a Data Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our big data clusters. This includes monitoring clusters, handling alarms, troubleshooting faults, performing data backups, and assisting users with issues.
Our ideal candidate has a strong background in computer science and experience in big data cluster operation and maintenance. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Java is required, as well as familiarity with Linux environment, configuration, management, and optimization.
We are looking for a mid-senior level professional who can communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to collaborate with international stakeholders and teams based in China.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in big data cluster operation and maintenance preferred
- Proficient in any programming language such as Python, Shell, or Java; familiar with Linux environment, configuration, management, and optimization
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, protocols, and network, security, database, and computer architecture fundamentals
- Ability to communicate bilingually in English and Mandarin to collaborate with international stakeholders and teams based in China
