- Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures (Applicable if the DR is in scope)
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating of SOP and KBase
- Maintaining and updating of Infra Documents
- Incident / Problem / Change management
- All minor and major updates / upgrades of in-scope assets.
- Responsible for rebuilding the entire Hypervisor server raised due to Major Incident
- Maintaining Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
- Capacity planning and Configuring Hypervisor Performance
- Configuring Alarm and monitoring parameters in Hypervisor
- Reviewing Hypervisor server performance
- Verifying Hypervisor server configuration
- Troubleshooting Hypervisor
- Configuring Hypervisor for High Availability
- Analysis of log files
- Service improvement Plan
- Hypervisor patch installation
- Creation & Modification of resources and any change in its configuration
- Preparation of RCA for Major Incidents
- Repeat Incident / Alert Analysis
- Performance tuning suggest by OEM
- Updation and maintenance of Availability, Capacity management
- Risk Analysis and Providing mitigation planning.
- Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions
- Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures.
- Preparing, maintaining and updation of SOP and KBase
- Maintaining and updation of Infra AS IS / Infra Documents
- Incident / Problem / Change management
- Workflow management in VMWare Automation
- Should be able to perform technological updates / upgrades
- Monthly patch management & Vulnerability closure
- Maintenance of database of hardware/software maintenance service vendors, suppliers, communication service agencies and any other third party.
- Service calls for maintenance and warranty vendors will be logged properly to track Vendor SLA
- Coordinate, escalate and follow up calls as and when necessary.
- Maintaining database of the various vendors with details like contact person, telephone numbers,
- Escalation matrix, response time and resolution time commitments etc.
- Logging calls with vendors
- Coordinating with the vendors to get the problems resolved.
- Escalating problems, if required
- Driving the vendor and technical team for the detailed Root cause analysis
