What You'll Achieve

Responsible for ensuring product compliance to global regulatory, market, and customer requirements in all target regions where there are operations. Works across segments and functions to assure adoption of policy, specifications into Products/Solutions. Works with regulatory bodies, industry, and customer groups to track, influence, create, and adopt regulations and standards that align with strategic plans. Supports business segments, and functions to resolve customer, supplier, government and media related opportunities and escalations.

You Will:

- Works with legal department, as needed, in performing analysis on field incidents, and preparing statements and recommendations that may be provided to Dell customers and/or Government Agencies.
- Responsible for implementation of applicable regulations, standards, and global market requirements for: electromagnetic compatibility, energy, acoustics, safety, security, accessibility, and/or environmental features relevant to design and fulfillment of Products/Solutions.
- Assists in identification of regulatory and market access requirements; influence/create regulations & standards; and provide End to End (E2E) Product Life Cycle management solutions to meet our global Regulatory Country Ship to Localization (CStL).
- Provides guidance to design teams, ODMs, Suppliers, 3rd Party Labs, and OEM partners in resolving issues that may arise during the review and evaluation of platform solutions by the various regulatory agencies. Assures that all platforms and solutions are compliant with worldwide regulatory EMC, safety and environmental regulatory agency requirements, specifications, and policies.
- Prepares schedules, statements of work and functional plans necessary to obtain required regulatory approvals for products. Works with various Dell & ODM factory regulatory teams and variations (Non-Compliances), as needed, to prevent factory shutdowns.

Essential Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in project or regulatory management. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability in reading and understanding technical data.
- Well familiar with wired/wireless peripheral products, e.g. audio, I/O, monitor, etc.
- Proficient understanding of ITE regulatory requirements with product EMC/Safety/Wireless/ Environmental/Eco Label experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Good English communication skills.

Desirable Requirements
- Strong project/program management skills.
- Experience with wired/wireless peripheral products compliance
- Able to operate in a global environment
