The Google People Services, Operations function is the services and program management group within People Operations that makes HR stuff easy and intuitive for Googlers. Our global team optimizes people processes, from problem definition to execution. We partner with teams across People Operations and in engineering to bring innovation and technology to the way we attract, retain and grow Googlers worldwide. As a User Support Specialist (Compensation Operations), you will take ownership of the compensation process within HR Operations. You will be responsible for operating it reliably, and drive continuous improvements. In this role, you will perform core work (daily delivery of individual compensation packaes, data management and reporting, etc.), problem-solve for special cases, manage initiatives to improve existing, and roll out new processes/programs. This position provides an excellent opportunity to get a broad overview of People Operations at Google. You will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of People Operations processes and to interact with stakeholders in different teams within APAC and globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage new hire and transfer compensation processes in partnership with our Core Compensation team. Assume responsibility for operating processes reliably (including the daily delivery of individual compensation packages) and drive continuous improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop seamless processes, guidelines, and policies related to compensation operations.
- Define, collect, and analyze compensation operations metrics. Use insights gathered to scale existing processes for growing and/or changing user needs.
- Act as a representative for the user, surfacing relevant user feedback to partner support. Collaborate on initiatives to address user needs, including consulting on content, process, and policy improvements.
- Deliver operational excellence, in line with assigned service goals, identifying opportunities to improve and scale in order to elevate HR Operations across our hiring support team.
