**OSO Ristorante, a contemporary fine Italian restaurant, established in 2004 by two long-time friends, Diego Chiarini & Stephane Colleoni.**

**We are looking for passionate individuals to be part of the OSO family.**

**5.5 Day week - Split Shift - Lunch and Dinner Service**
**Monday - Friday - Split Shift (10.30am - 2.30pm/ Break / 5pm - 10.30pm)**

**Saturday Dinner Service (4.30pm start - 10.30pm - inclusive of Breaktime)**

**Sunday (full day off)**

**Prepare the mise en place and handle pastry, cake, dessert preparation and assist with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade.**

**OVERALL OBJECTIVES**

This position requires the activities during his shift for kitchen operation from food preparation to final production. It also involves maintaining of food quality served and the waiting period for serving. It involves following closely the instruction and duties assigned by Chef / Sous Chef.

Plan and produce pastries, cakes and various desserts

Ensure baking supplies are stocked sufficiently

Maintain standards of food preparation, quality, hygiene, sanitation, scheduling and decoration

Evaluate outsourced food suppliers where required

Check quality of ingredients

Perform any other duties as required by the Head Chef

Experience is advantageous

Minimum culinary certificate or equivalent with minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Possess positive attitude towards task assigned

**Requirements**:

- Positive, friendly, professional and confident, with good interpersonal skills.
- Ideally you will have at least 2 year in a similar role.
- Able to learn and adapt to various line positions within location
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiar with HACCP requirements
- Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and procedures

**Salary**: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
