Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in technical marketing, brand/digital marketing, strategy consulting, business strategy, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

- 3 years of experience at a strategy consulting/marketing firm.
- Experience with analytical problem-solving leading to thoughtful recommendations, quantitative analysis, and complex stakeholder management, including executive stakeholders.
- Experience in a leadership role and driving scaled campaigns, online educational events/seminars, and online asset creation (e.g. landing pages).
- Experience working with media and creative agencies.
- Experience executing large, complex marketing campaigns at scale.
- Creativity/innovation streak and ability to communicate cross-functionally within a team.

**About the job**:
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Small and Medium Business (SMB) Marketing team is responsible for bringing Google Ads advertisers into the franchise. We leverage traditional direct marketing channels, third-party channels, as well as alternative channels to reach prospective advertisers.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll be a lead on the South East Asia (SEA) Marketing team. You will collaborate closely with our sales teams to identify how Google should engage with customers within the SMB segment, and where marketing can play a major role in helping these customers succeed.

In addition to opportunity identification, you will manage a team to create the marketing strategy and execute various marketing campaigns to support these customers (i.e live streams, scaled marketing programs) in order to educate customers on product features, and scale best practices across markets in SEA and APAC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead part of the SEA SMB Marketing team. Drive the SMB marketing strategy to acquire and retain SMB advertisers, and support growth in SEA (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand).
- Work with the regional Marketing and Sales stakeholders, as well as other cross-functional teams, to develop and execute marketing programs across SEA.
- Engage with agencies and other external vendors to develop narratives, collateral, and events aimed at increasing our engagement with advertisers.
- Track and measure the impact of our programs and use insights/learnings to optimize initiatives for increased impact.
- Contribute to communication of marketing strategy to executive management in the region and to the broader organization. Innovate and develop best practices for B2B advertiser acquisition.
