**Position Overview**

Scroll is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Chinese-Speaking Community Manager to lead engagement efforts across our developer and user communities in China and the broader APAC region. As a key member of the team, you will manage interactions across platforms like Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp, ensuring our communities stay informed, engaged, and connected. You'll also work closely with partners, assist with translations, and organize both online and offline events to grow Scroll's ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about fostering vibrant blockchain communities, fluent in Chinese and English, and eager to support developers and users in the fast-evolving world of Layer 2 solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- **Community Management**:

- Actively manage, moderate, and grow Scroll's Chinese-speaking communities across Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, X, and other relevant platforms.
- Respond promptly to community inquiries, share updates, and ensure a positive and collaborative environment.
- Plan, host, and attend online and offline events, such as meetups, workshops, and community calls, to engage developers and users.
- **Translations & Localized Content**:

- Translate technical and marketing materials from English to Chinese and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Proofread and localize content to align with Chinese-speaking audiences' needs.
- **Partner Engagement**:

- Build relationships with developers, local businesses, and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) to expand Scroll's presence in APAC.
- Work with local influencers and micro-influencers to execute surface opportunities for promotional campaigns.
- **Community Expansion**:

- Identify opportunities to scale community engagement across social media and messaging platforms popular in the region.
- Track feedback and report insights to internal teams, ensuring the voice of the community informs Scroll's roadmap.

**Requirements**:

- **Location & Language Skills**:

- Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Located in Asia.
- **Community Management Experience**:

- Proven experience managing and growing online communities, including on Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
- Familiarity with engaging both developer and user communities in the crypto space, maybe even running a few degen groups yourself
- Experience organizing and hosting online and offline events such as meetups, hackathons, or community calls.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in blockchain, Layer 2, or crypto-focused roles.
- Connections with developer communities or KOLs in APAC.
- Startup experience or familiarity with high-growth environments.
- Experience contributing to or managing open-source projects and experience with using Github.
