Accountant / Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of full set of accounts and supporting schedules for portfolio of clients which comprise SMEs, MNCs
- Preparation of Unaudited Financial Statements or Financial Statements
- Experience in preparation tax computation based on Singapore tax laws
- Ensuring all projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring all accounting processes align current financial legislation (ie. Singapore FRS, GST & Corporate Tax)
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and assisting in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the accounting industry
- Processes and posts journal entries for routine transactions and ensure accuracy of the General Ledger
- Assist Manager / Assistant Manager for accounting and tax work
- Performs other duties as requested

Requirement:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Min 4 years working experiences in Singapore accounting firm as an auditor / accounts / tax
- Must have knowledge and experience with Singapore accounting and corporate tax regulation
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting, SFRS, GST, and corporate tax
- Proficiency with computers, especially Xero accounting software and MS Office.
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyse large amounts of data.
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Effective time management skills, self
- motivated, critical attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Analytic and detail-oriented, with good organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, high initiative and able to work with mínimal supervision
