Allianz Networks South-East Asia is part of a Global Allianz Business Development team ("GABD") that is tasked with forging a collaboration with the Allianz entities. Allianz Networks South-East Asia focuses on collaboration with Allianz Life entities across South-East Asia to identify and pursue opportunities in the Life insurance space by offering AllianzGI's capabilities.

The role will be based in Singapore.

**What you will do**

Sales Activities
- Responsible for the planning, developing, and implementing strategic sales initiatives for all Allianz-related businesses in Southeast Asian countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia
- Coverage includes both Allianz Agency and Allianz Bancassurance Partnerships
- Prepare sales kits, customize marketing materials, and handle client inquiries
- Conduct sales training, provide product and market updates
- Conduct investment seminars and client seminars to facilitate sales for distribution partners
- Coordinate daily market briefings and communicate daily market updates to distribution partners
- Work with the client and Business Management team to coordinate with product development, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to further support the business

Product Strategy
- Responsible for understanding local market needs, sentiments, competition, and business models
- Conduct local market product research, brainstorm sales concepts, and leverage resources from global investment platforms to assist in both the development of strategies and in supporting management with the monitoring of trends in the mutual fund market for strategic planning
- Obtain a full grasp of client's selling/distribution cycle
- Capture all opportunities to fit our product to the client's selling cycle

**What you bring**
- University Degree, with preference in Finance
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in financial industry, preferably in asset management
- Knowledge and ability to explain/sell other financial products such as insurance or unit-linked products (preferred)
- Outgoing personality, with a desire to develop a career in financial services sales and marketing
- Solid understanding of business dynamics and market trends
- Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of markets
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in at least one of the Asian languages (Mandarin, Thai, Indonesian (Indonesia), Malay (Malaysia), Tagalog) (preferred)
