- Responsible for service continuous operation, resource analysis, scheduling optimisation on the Shopee Cloud Native Platform, and continuously improving cluster resource utilisation
- Design and develop Shopee online service/batch job colocation system, establish service resource persona and improve interference detection, ensure the latency and performance for business
- Design and develop Shopee overcommit system according to the actual business scenarios
- Continuously improve Shopee Kubernetes Scheduler and Descheduler, reduce resource fragmentation, and optimise the scheduling model for large-scale online service
- Design and develop Shopee Application Model System, and enhance the service governance and operation quality in large-scale scenarios
- Design and develop the global profiling system for Shopee's business, and continue to reduce DataCenter tax
- Develop and implement automation and engineering solutions to detect and fix potential problems via test-driven development, chaos engineering and regular fire drills, and to react quickly to incidents to reduce unnecessary manual operations and improve response time

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
- In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, etc)
- Strong and hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, C++, Java
**Skills below are optional but preferable**:

- Experiences in the design and development of large-scale systems and platforms;
- Contributed to open-source projects such as YARN, Kubernetes, Spark, Kubeflow etc
- Experience with Cloud Native technology stack such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, containerd, CRI, lxcfs, etcd etc
- Familiar with Linux dynamic tracing and performance profiling and has experience with software troubleshooting
- Skilled at data analysis and modeling
- Published papers at conferences like ASPLOS, Eurosys, NSDI, OSDI etc
