- Design and develop Shopee Cloud Native infrastructure, including the scheduling and management of physical server, virtual machine and other machine resources, especially the cluster management in large scale
- Evolve Shopee Cloud Native infrastructures and empower businesses via Cloud Native technology stacks
- Design and develop different Elastic Machine Platform functions, such as resource pool, budget management, image management, automated OS installation, BMC control, multi-cloud management, and continuously improve Shopee's server governance in large-scale scenarios
- Enhance Shopee Elastic Machine Platform's stability, scalability, sustainability and security to ensure the smooth running of Shopee Elastic Machine Platform
- Improve Shopee Elastic Machine Platform's usability and maintainability, optimise system processes and reduce the learning curve according to actual scenarios and daily support feedback
- Develop and implement automation and engineering solutions to detect and fix potential problems via test-driven development, chaos engineering and regular fire drills, and to react quickly to incidents to reduce unnecessary manual operations and improve response time

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
- In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, etc)
- Strong and hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, C++, Java
****Skills below are optional but preferable**:

- Experiences in the design and development of large-scale systems and platforms
- Contributed to open-source projects such as Linux Kernel, Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenBMC etc
- Familiar with Linux dynamic tracing and performance profiling
- Experience with software troubleshooting
- Experiences in Data Centre's planning, setup and delivery, understand traditional IDC management pain points
- Familiar with BIOS, BMC, Firmware
- Experiences in new hardware such as SmartNIC and in Physical Server maintenance
- Familiar with major X86 server's hardware and systems
