**Data Architect**

Bramble’s goal is to become a more digitally native company. As such, they are building an “Enterprise Data Hub” for a consistent source of data information. This Data Architect is the primary link between the CoE and innovation squads, ensures quality and consistency of present and future data flows including advanced analytics and business intelligence capabilities, for BxBD and the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) integration.

**Role**:

- Define, design, and implement major parts of the software architecture for BXB Digital in tight collaboration with product management and engineering team members, keeping close contact with CHEP business teams working on digitization of Brambles.
- The work performed is all levels of detail from individual code elements to overall system architecture and will be engaged in tech experimentation, incubation models and new ways of working.

**Activities/Deliverables**:

- Develop future-proof technical designs for complex enterprise software
- Give technical guidance for specific software development projects while keeping the big picture across projects in mind.
- Establish priorities and strategies consistent with business goals and economic viability.
- Research options and propose software architecture against technology needs of the organization while including new and emerging technologies.
- Successfully delivery of detailed technical designs across multiple integrated technologies and platforms, in accordance with stage gates, milestones, and business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- BS/BA level degree.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Hands-on expertise in multiple programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, Java, Go, and/or Python, ideally in user interface, algorithm and data management areas.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Development
- Practical real-world experience in a number of different software technologies
- Experience directing a group of software developers to meet a common goal with successful outcome
- Proven technical leadership in multiple complex software projects
- Expertise in analysing and designing for performance of large-scale software systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts into understandable terms for all levels of the organization
- Thorough understanding of technology trends and the ability to analyse the potential impact or benefit for Brambles
- Proven ability in coaching and mentoring others
