Business Process and Systems Expert

**Short Description**:
Under the responsibility of the Business Process and Systems Manager, you will be responsible for studying, monitoring and anticipating the operational needs of an area that will include several ports, hubs and countries. Your ability to work as a team with others in these areas, will be key to the success of the workflow process alignment.

**Your responsibilities**:
Participate and provide inputs in the continuous improvement projects and evaluation of existing IT tools.

Identifying improvements, best practices and tips and coordinate follow up with respective functional departments and head office

Follow up and reporting of the agility initiatives in the region

Assist with regional action plans to improve processes and reduce OPEX

Promote digitalization tools within the Operations department

Assist with line schedule studies, fuel consumption reporting and other related queries for the operations department.

Continuous communication/follow up with ARO, agency ops and HO with the goal of productivity and quality improvement (gap analysis, specific improvement plan, etc.)

Coordinate user acceptance testing for new functionalities of systems and tools

Monitor the quay storage and renominations cost for AP ports

Create and review Standard Operating Process in Signavio

Assist in the HO projects implementation in AP region (e.g., LISA, IMO23, Efficio)

Monitoring KPIs & performances with the help of analytics

**You bring aboard**:
At least 5 years of experience in the shipping industry
Ideally a successfully completed education, preferably in the field of shipping and logistics and/or a degree in a related field
Fluent in English
Very good knowledge of project and change management
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
High degree of independence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to design processes
Good analytical skills and affinity for numbers
Good organizational and planning skills
