**Role Purpose**

As the engineer with in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product and system, provide on-site installation of products / programming of solutions, resolves complex technical matters and the maintenance of systems for local and Asia-Pacific countries.

**Responsibilities / Duties**

**1. On-Site Technical Support**
- Manage the **on-site **installation or programming of the systems as required by system integrators. On-site supports are largely in Singapore but may occasionally be overseas.
- Manage / resolve complex technical matters as escalated by the sales team / system integrators’ technical team.
- Responsible for on-site maintenance or updating of software services as per after sales / service maintenance services.
- When necessary, assist in product / system presentation to non-technical stakeholders such as customers’ queries over the phone, working with contractors or engineers of customers or others.
- To perform testing and commissioning at work site when necessary.

**2. Technical Knowledge**
- Establish thorough understanding of the technical specifications, functionalities and roadmap of products and systems through:

- Attending product or system training given by Headquarter (Germany).
- Designing / Establishing the product / system technical roadmap based on the technological advancement or trends from the recognized publications or media.
- Working with other technical experts of partners’ products and systems and understand how products / solutions compatibility / incompatibility issues.

**3. Others**
- Participate in annual stock-take exercise.

**Requirements**:
**1. Work Experience**
- 1-year experience as electrical technician or building technician maintaining electrical systems or similar.

**2. Education**
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Certificate or Knowledge of KNX Language is a plus.

**3. Personality**
- Pleasant disposition.
- Resourceful and enjoys working in a team-based environment.

**4. Physical Requirement**
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling on-site installation works and programming of systems duties.
- Must be willing and able to fly overseas.

**5. IT Skills / Languages / Others**
- MS Office suite
- Certificate of KNX Language.
- Have electrical safety knowledge.
- Must be proficient in written and verbal English.
- Class 3 Driving License.
