As the Marketing Director of APAC, you will be accountable for:
**APAC Marketing and Product Management**:
- Member of the APAC management & Global marketing team that brings global Marketing initiatives to regional execution and represents APAC relevance to the Global team.
- Collaborate with Global Marketing and Regional leadership team to develop the APAC marketing strategy in alignment with corporate strategy and global marketing plans. Own the implementation and success of the strategy for all of APAC. Goal is to drive alignment between global and regional needs, provide inputs into the global marketing strategy, adapt and refine strategies to regional requirements and define regional priorities and drive execution of the plan.
- Lead the development of the APAC marketing team inclusive of product management. Define the long-term marketing capabilities and organization design to support the regional growth expectations. Retain, recruit and grow APAC marketing talent.
- Partner with regional GM and finance leader to define the APAC growth strategy with clarity on country growth targets and priorities.
- Support the APAC organization strategically by enabling the country teams to sell and recommendations (based in sound empirical evidence/data) to solve a variety of challenges - specifically operating profit and revenue.
- Collaborate with global marketing (inclusive of customer marketing and innovation) efforts by working with teams based in Eagan, Netherlands and China and share APAC specific perspectives, help guide and ensure global strategies encompass APAC needs or can be adapted for local relevancy.
- In collaboration with global marketing, set current and long-term goals for the APAC marketing and product management team that both support the global priorities and APAC growth expectations.
- Design, review and management of APAC marketing budgets.
- Develop close partnerships and collaborate with cross functional partners in product management, sales, industrial design, engineering, finance and business operation to drive effective marketing programs.
- Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.
- Deliver quarterly performance feedback to direct reports to drive engagement and motivation.
**Education and Experience Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- A minimum 10+ years regional Marketing level experience in marketing of tangible, branded products with specific experience in digital, channel and online marketing.
- Requires 10+ years of product management experience.
- Experience working in global organizations. Proven capabilities in working in matrix organizations.
- Experienced in leading teams and depth of knowledge across all marketing disciplines.
- Channel marketing experience (both B2C & B2B) ; ability to establish relationships with Senior Leaders at Top 10 resellers to oversee and support alignment, insight and continuous improvement to promote and position Ergotron as the right choice.
- Must be a strategic thought leader that can see the big picture, establish the vision and articulate a strong plan of execution.
- Must have demonstrated success as an innovative Marketing pioneer.
- Transformation Experience; Led organizational change into measurable performance improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to create, set, and achieve strategic initiatives that specifically align with organizational goals in a fast-paced and nimble environment.
- Must possess a collaborative working style that thrives in a cross-functional team environment.
- A track record of high achievement, meeting/exceeding goals and driving results is required.
- The ability to inspire, lead and motivate is imperative.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (additional languages are welcome) including listening and presentation skills.
- Must have a passion for customer satisfaction and success.
- Demonstrated good business acumen and decision-making skills required.
- Experience leading regional marketing initiatives required in APAC countries.
- Must be able to travel overnight approximately 20% (some international) and therefore a current and valid passport is required.
- Strong Financial Acumen related to Marketing spend and budgets.
