**Overall Job Responsibility**:
- Strategy & Innovation Division is the innovation arm of SG Enable. We pursue opportunities and partnerships, drive innovation projects and catalyse social innovation for the disability sector. We are seeking a passionate and self-starting individual to join us in this end-to-end innovation journey, starting with business strategy development to driving innovation pilots and initiatives. This is a multi-faceted role which requires the individual to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Developing Business Strategy**
- Lead in the identification of cross-cutting business areas within SG Enable, sector gaps and growth areas to develop thematic business strategies to guide divisions towards achieving SG Enable’s 5-year organisational goals;
- This involves analysing strategic and work plans across divisions and stakeholders, conducting secondary research to understand the disability landscape, identify threats, opportunities and new trends and working closely with divisions and management to develop these thematic business strategies;
- And to translate with SG Enable division leaders, priority areas identified in these thematic business strategies into innovation pilots and initiatives
**Driving Innovation Pilots and Initiatives***
- Conceptualise innovation pilots and initiatives based on the priority areas to address real-life challenges faced by persons with disabilities and their caregivers and framing them into executable projects
- Initiate engagement and maintain relationships with various stakeholders such as service providers, corporate partners, government agencies, funders, persons with disabilities and their caregivers. Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to execute the projects
- Plan, manage and execute projects to meet specific goals and deliverables in accordance to stipulated timelines
- Solicit and manage funding for projects through monitoring of expenditure and procurement for goods and services in accordance with company procurement guidelines (where funding is required for the project)
- Design and implement marketing and publicity plans for the projects where necessary
- Prepare periodic reports to update management, funders and other stakeholders
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:
- Relevant degree, with at least 5 years’ track record in similar work
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, paired with grounding in business operations and a strong sense of reality
- Demonstrated strong experience in project management, possess good presentation and writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly
- Good people skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Able to contribute as part of a team, while working independently on individual responsibilities with minimum supervision
- Able to work under tight deadlines, adaptable to changing circumstances and resourceful in problem solving
- Good organisation skills to keep tasks on time and on track
- Prior experience in the disability sector or familiarity with disability issues is an advantage
