**Overall Job Responsibility**:
The Strategy & Innovation Division is the innovation arm of SG Enable. We pursue opportunities and partners, drive innovation projects, and provide support for innovation. This is all to enable persons with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play in an inclusive society.
- We are seeking a new teammate to join us on this journey to conceptualize and manage innovation projects to improve outcomes for persons with disabilities and their caregivers. This is a multi-faceted role involving a wide range of work within a dynamic environment.**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Project Management for Innovation Pilots and Initiatives**
- Conceptualize innovation pilots and initiatives based on the priority areas to address real-life challenges faced by persons with disabilities and their caregivers, and framing them into executable projects
- Support the engagement with and maintenance of relationships with various stakeholders such as service providers, corporate partners, government agencies, funders, persons with disabilities, and caregivers. Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to seed and execute projects
- Plan, execute, and manage projects to meet specific goals and deliverables in accordance to stipulated timelines
- Support efforts to solicit and manage funding for projects through monitoring of expenditure and procurement for goods and services in accordance with company procurement guidelines (where funding is required for the project)
- Support the design and implementation of marketing and publicity plans for the projects where necessary
- Prepare periodic reports to update management, funders, and other stakeholders
**Driving adoption of innovation methodologies**
- Conceptualize and execute initiatives to foster a culture of innovation within SG Enable
- Develop initiatives to raise awareness and knowledge of various approaches or methodologies to drive adoption of innovation among SG Enable staff (e.g. design thinking, systems thinking, behavioural science, futures thinking, or equivalent)
- Identify and develop opportunities to deepen relationships with innovators (e.g. technology companies, startups, innovation labs) and sector stakeholders (e.g. social service agencies, nonprofits) to facilitate opportunities for innovation pilots or learning
**Business Strategy Development**
- Support the identification of cross-cutting growth areas or gaps within SG Enable or the sector to guide divisions towards achieving SG Enable’s corporate goals
- This involves analysing strategies, data, and/or work plans across divisions, conducting research to understand the disability landscape, identifying threats, opportunities, and new trends, and working closely with divisions to identify potential priority areas for intervention
- Assist to translate priority areas identified into innovation pilots and initiatives
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:
- Degree in any discipline or Diploma holder with relevant working experience
- 3 years of professional experience. Entry-level graduates are also welcomed to apply
- Demonstrated experience in project management, programme development, stakeholder engagement, and/or change management
- Functional knowledge of at least one innovation approach/ methodology (e.g. design thinking, systems thinking, behavioural science, futures thinking, or equivalent), demonstrated through previous work experience, involvement in standalone projects, or completion of relevant courses
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Possess good presentation and writing skills, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and convincingly
- Good people skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable with facilitating discussions
- Able to contribute as part of a team, while working independently on individual responsibilities with mínimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to keep tasks on time under tight deadlines and resourceful in problem solving
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to changing circumstances
- Courage to propose and test new ideas, and learn from successes and failures
- Strong passion for creating positive social impact and disability inclusion is necessary. Prior experience in the disability sector or familiarity with disability issues is an advantage
