**Job Summary**:
An Educational Therapist is responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs and between 2 - 14 years old. This role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with therapists of other disciplines and parents, and utilizing a variety of teaching methods to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The goal is to ensure that each student achieves their highest potential in their academic, social-emotional development and daily living activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)**:

- Develop, implement, and review IEPs tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure the IEPs are comprehensive and effective.
- Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals and make necessary adjustments.

**2. Instructional Planning and Delivery**:

- Design and deliver differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, materials, and strategies to engage students and promote learning.
- Implement assistive technology and adaptive equipment as needed to support student learning.

**3. Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to support positive student behavior.
- Foster social skills development and promote an inclusive classroom culture.

**4. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and other school staff to support inclusive education practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address concerns.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training related to special education.

**5. Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct enrolment screenings to identify students' needs and measure their progress.
- Use data to inform instruction and make evidence-based decisions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by school policies and regulations.

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Additional certifications or prior experience in specific disability areas (e.g., Autism, Learning Disabilities) are a plus.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
