- Hagen Lee- Co-Founder, Director StriveX is partnering a Corporate Banking client who is looking for an Associate, to join their Trade Finance Operations. This person will be responsible for supporting the Operations Department in all aspects of Trade Finance Operations, ensuring smooth processing and support on trade matters. On top of that, you will be given exposure to other aspects of Operations, including Fixed Deposits, Remittance and Payments.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Process daily trade transactions, covering various trade products to ensure efficient and effective handling of trade transactions.
- Perform account management activities such as static data setup, deposits placement, rollovers and remittances
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and guidelines.
- Escalate any documentary discrepancies, transaction exceptions, or regulatory non-compliance for further review.
- Participate in trade-related / operations departmental projects.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Structured and/or Trade Finance operations.
- Strong working knowledge of UCP600, ISP98, ISBP, URR725, URC522, and Incoterms.
- Solid understanding of trade-related compliance, eg. AML checks
- Experience in end-to-end trade processes.
- Proven ability to identify process enhancement opportunities and propose solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous, self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of the organization.
