**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Role: Associate, Trade Commodity Finance**

**Location: Singapore**

**Reporting to**:Head of Trade and Commodity Finance, South Asia**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role**:

- Support Deal Principal in origination of trade commodity finance (TCF) transactions for the South Asia region, including hands-on experience in structuring and execution of TCF transactions; working closely with key stakeholders i.e. clients, product, risk, legal, compliance, operations etc.
- Support the growth of trade transactions with an identified list of commodities clients.
- Support the growth of bank’s wallet share of auxiliary businesses (including Financial Markets, TFS, Working Capital Solutions and Strategic Products).
- Working closely with Transaction Management Office (TMO) and operations partners to ensure robust execution of flow trade transactions.

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- 3 - 5 years prior experience in dealing with commodity clients, preferably in Asia.
- Good analytical skills, with keen interest to find out more.
- Resourceful and willingness to work with clients / stakeholders for solutions.
- Positive attitude in dealing with challenging and difficult situations.
