Keppel Renewable Energy is recruiting for an Investment Manager to lead the investment/financial analysis team.

The Investment Manager is an integral part of the Keppel Renewable Energy (KRE ) development team, providing insights into the value of projects through a detailed analysis of project revenues and costs and determining the value of the project through well-known parameters such as IRR, ROE, and NPV. This role will work closely with banks and Treasury to ensure the best approach is taken to financing the project and accurately describing the results to the Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and review financial models to assess new opportunities.- Conduct financial and commercial due diligence on new opportunities.- Provide returns assessment on current and new projects.- Provide in-depth financial analysis to develop an appropriate financing strategy for the project or portfolio.- Develop and maintain relationships with different types of finance providers.- Work closely with the development team, managing external advisors, and lenders.- Prepare RFPs for advisory services - i.e. structuring, tax- Support the preparation of investment committee papers, information memorandums, and other materials.- Support the development team in commercial negotiations.-
- Act as the main interface with Keppel Capital managed funds- Supporting other ad hoc development activities (e.g. tax structuring) as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirement- Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in developing and reviewing financial models and structuring non-recourse debt financing for renewable/ infrastructure projects.- Experience in renewable energy/ infrastructure transactions, ideally gained from developers, financial advisory, commercial or investment banks, private equity firms, and model audit firms.- Proactive and strong work ethic and a team player.- Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, banking, mathematics, engineering or equivalent.- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills- Knowledge of Project Financing- CFA, CPA or similar qualifications desired
