Keppel Infrastructure provides solutions for some of the world’s most pressing challenges through its power & renewables, environment and new energy businesses by leveraging its proprietary technology, strong technical expertise and proven operating capabilities.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
- Responsible for the operations of District Cooling System (DCS) plants and Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) plants.- Support analysis and optimisation of plant operations.- Assist Engineer to adjust operations regime to optimise plant efficiency and performance.- Perform troubleshooting on defects and alarms during operations and support the Engineer to resolve operational issues.- Support planning of maintenance activities.- Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.- Assist Engineer in instrumentation calibrations.- Implement and update operation procedures.- Ensure all operations and maintenance records are properly documented for tracking and audit purposes.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand operations and maintenance of district cooling plants.- Learn how to operate District Cooling System (DCS) and Retail Cooling plants.- Understand how to use data for performance analysis.- Gain exposure to basic trouble-shooting to resolve equipment or operational issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Currently pursuing a Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Control & Instrumentation / Air-conditioning / Building Services Engineering.- Keen interest to develop a career in the district cooling business.- Good understanding of the technical features of Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Good awareness of Health, Safety and Environment and a strong safety mindset.
