APRIL IT and Digital team enables the digital transformation of APRIL’s business units through the adoption of modern software technologies such as sensors, analytics engineering, cloud and artificial intelligence, in the areas of digital forestry, manufacturing and logistics.

Our businesses operate in the forestry, paper manufacturing, edible oils, supply chain and renewable energy industries where we have global scale operations across four continents with USD 35 billion+ in assets and ~80,000 employees.

We are looking for a Head of IT and Digital, SCM for our Indonesia based businesses which cover the paper and edible oil businesses. Based in Singapore, this role reports to the Chief Digital and IT Officer of the RGE Group.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- To develop the IT and digital strategy for our Indonesia businesses including, pulp and paper, upstream and downstream palm oil, in line with the business needs and technology trends.
- Drive modernization of existing ERP, MES and Logistics systems in our forestry, mill and operations, where it drives demonstrable business impact and return on investment (ROI).
- Engage with Business Heads and leaders to identify opportunities for digitization and communicate the effectiveness of IT transformation.
- Hire, grow and train local IT and digital capabilities in our mills in Riau and key sites like Medan, with the right technology expertise and cultural alignment with the organisation.
- Establish and enforce IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Act as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain enterprise digital capabilities.

**Job Experience & Requirements**
- At least 12 years’ experience working in IT or digital execution and delivery roles, involving management of internal or external business leaders.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation projects in forestry, manufacturing/Industry 4.0 and/or supply chain.
- Business savvy, technology thinking, understands that technology needs to be in service of the business with a big picture orientation and conceptualization of ideas; but with relentless focus on execution and delivering for the customer.
- Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
- Experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation.
- Fluent in English; ideally has experience operating in Indonesia and speaks Bahasa Indonesia.
