We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Information Technology to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Head of Information Technology is responsible for leading GasCo's technology strategy, ensuring that IT infrastructure, applications, and digital initiatives effectively support business operations and growth. This role also oversees IT governance, cybersecurity, and system reliability while driving continuous improvement in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement GasCo's IT strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and service excellence
  • Oversee IT budget planning, cost optimisation, and resource allocation to meet operational and strategic needs
IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a stable, secure and scalable IT infrastructure, encompassing networks, servers, cloud environments, datalake architecture and end-user system
  • Develop and oversee cybersecurity strategies, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and implementation of security best practices to protect company data and systems
IT Applications & Business Solutions
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications such as SAP BI, ETRM and downstream gas nomination and scheduling systems, as well as operational support systems
  • Collaborate with business functions to identify technology solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making
  • Ensure effective change management and training for new systems or applications
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Familiarity with Singapore's Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) regulations and Cybersecurity Agency (CSA) standards, incorporating relevant protocols into the company's IT governance and risk management framework
  • Establish and maintain a robust IT governance framework, including policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational integrity
  • Monitor and manage IT-related risks, ensuring audit readiness for systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best practices across IT operations
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in IT strategy development, cybersecurity management, and enterprise application implementation across trading or banking organisations
  • Proven track record in deploying cloud infrastructure and datalake solutions, familiarity with AI/ML development is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of IT risk management, governance, and compliance framework
  • Familiarity with Singapore's CII regulations and CSA standards
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management
  • Minimally 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership role overseeing infrastructure and applications teams
