In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills.
As the Sales & Community Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include:
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Motivating the sales staff and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among the staff.
- Providing sales staff with constructive feedback and assisting staff to solve customers' problems.
- Recruiting and training new sales staff, assigning specific tasks to other sales staff, and monitoring the team's sales performance.
- Maintaining positive customer relations.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Solving customer complaints and answering customers' questions.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Your secondary portfolio as Community Engagement Lead entails building and maintaining ICON's community -- both online and offline -- and public perception. The job requires engaging audiences on a variety of outlets including online forums, social media platforms, in-person groups, and more to reach all audiences where they are
- Planning and executing events from start to finish
- Managing event budgets
- Managing logistics and event venues
- Putting together event marketing plans
- Pre
- and post-event communication
- Reporting & analysis to measure whether the event performance
**Sales Representative Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
- Impeccable communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and execution of engagement activities
- Adept at learning in a fast moving environment
- Collaborative and team-minded
- Previous experience in a sales role is required
