A Research Fellow position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining the day-to-day operation of a Ti:Sapphire Regenerative Amplifier Laser system and Optical parametric Amplifiers based ultrafast multidimensional optical spectrometer
- Responsible for the design and performance of experiments and data analysis of ultrafast transient absorption and multidimensional optical spectroscopy
- Carry out computational simulations of ultrafast dynamics in chemical and biological systems
- Drafting research manuscripts for publication
- Guiding and mentoring of PhD and Undergrad students

**Job Requirements**
- PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or Biophysics
- Expert knowledge of ultrafast multidimensional optical spectroscopy is required
- Ability to write codes in Matlab or Python to perform numerical algorithms is necessary
- Prior track record as author/co-author of publications in the field of optics, chemical physics, physical chemistry or related fields is required
