As a Law Enforcement Outreach Manager, you will be the liaison officer to strategic APAC law enforcement agencies, with a particular focus on the Oceania Region. This position would entail frequent travel to countries in the APAC region.

What will I be doing?
- You'll work closely with legal and public policy teams to develop key partnerships between TikTok and strategic APAC law enforcement agencies, especially within Oceania, with a focus on Internet safety and security
- You'll develop proactive outreach programs for strategic APAC law enforcement agencies, to raise awareness on TikTok processes such as submissions of emergency data disclosure requests, other requests relating to data, and TikTok’s policies for protecting user privacy and responding to legal requests
- You'll support child safety and emergency response teams, and coordinate with internal investigation teams to develop referral processes to law enforcement agencies
- You'll work closely with our internal legal team and external counsel in responding to governmental requests for data

What should I bring with me?
- You are experienced in working or engaging with law enforcement authorities at an international level
- You have at least 5+ years of work experience in the safety/security field, and/or as an analyst or investigator with a safety, law enforcement, or security focus
- You have experience with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and General Data Protection Regulation, as well as other global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially those relevant for social media and Internet companies
- You have a law enforcement or other government investigator background, especially in cybercrime investigations, and experience in business administration or program management would be an added advantage
- You have strong public speaking and presentation skills
- You are able to frequently travel within Asia-Pacific countries
- Fluency in any additional languages within the APAC Region would be advantageous as you would be covering the APAC region
