**What the role is**
**What you will be working on**
- You will support the functions of the Registry of Moneylenders/Pawnbrokers and the Insolvency Office by taking on the following roles:
- Participate in policy formulation and review that have direct impacts on the regulation of moneylenders and pawnbrokers
- Formulate policy and guidelines in relation to the enforcement of various legislation under the purview of the division (primarily the Moneylenders Act 2008, Pawnbrokers Act 2015 and Insolvency, Resolution & Dissolution Act 2018)
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on project work as well as to perform outreach efforts
- Handle enquiries relating to regulation of moneylending and pawnbroking
- Support organisational development and business transformation initiatives, including implementation/enhancement of business processes and information technology systems
- Perform licence administration and compliance work for regulated moneylenders and pawnbrokers. Other functions such as formulation/tracking of annual work plans and key performance indicators, budget planning and monitoring, facilitation of audits, etc.

*Personal Traits/Work Experience*
- Academic training in any field. Training in the field of business, finance or law would be an added advantage
- Keen interest in policy work with strong strategic and analytical abilities
- Ability in prioritising/monitoring work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Good internal/external stakeholder management skills
- Good communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills
- Work well independently as well as in a team
- Adaptable to change fast
