Singapore MHA - Home Team Academy (HTA) Full time

**What the role is**
- The jobholder is required to develop specialised training and learning competencies in Home Team Trainers, engage key stakeholders to understand promoters and barriers to good and effective training, and ideate and implement solutions to address identified barriers.

**What you will be working on**
- 1. Drive planning and implementation of Trainers Competency Development Roadmap (TCDR) initiatives, milestone courses, events, audits and any other relevant activities. 2. Identify skill gaps and create training and learning interventions to build new capabilities in Home Team trainers. 3. Review effectiveness of milestone programmes and recommend improvements to ensure quality and relevance of programmes for Home Team trainers. 4. Liaise with training vendors and Home Team departments for the administration of milestone programmes ranging from managing course nominations, training schedules, addressing attendance issues, collating learner and supervisor feedback, and providing logistic and administrative support to stakeholders. 5. Ensure the smooth administration of training courses and programmes for Home Team officers to develop skills and knowledge in training delivery. 6. Manage procurement and budgets for relevant projects and activities under TCDR activities in a timely manner. 7. Perform Secretariat roles for Departmental Training Development Board (DTDB) and TCDR Board.

**What we are looking for**
- Minimally a good Degree - Good command of written and spoken English - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Able to work both individually and within groups, with mínimal supervision to achieve desired outcomes - Meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment with overlapping timelines. - Experienced in procurement procedure and practices for tender projects - Good leadership and management skills
