We are currently looking for a Junior Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. Responsible for to work with compliance and AML teams to perform checks on all potential users at the user onboarding stage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform KYC/AML/CDD requirements for new clients.
- Perform name screening checks for new & existing customers against international sanctions and warning lists.
- Ensure periodic reviews and screening requests are processed on a prompt and timely basis in accordance with defined turnaround time and maintaining a high quality of the screening requests performed.
- Ensure effective discharge of the screening requirement based on defined screening methodology and workflow.
- Work independently to analyse alerts and reports generated from multiple sources including detection software, or other internal systems to detect and evaluate suspicious transaction activity.
- Extract meaning from large quantities of complex date, make connections, and identify anomalies, trends and reoccurrences as it relates to fraudulent activity.
- Assist in AML transaction monitoring with further investigations and ensure timely escalation to senior management where required.
- Keep up-to-date with current fraud trends in the cryptocurrency and finance industries.
- Review all potential cases and determine if they are suspicious, compile a case summary, and escalate to the team leader for investigation or for STR filing.
- Maintain, organise, update and archive electronic and physical files of all STRs, supporting documentation and other critical documents.
- Participate in AML related projects.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma graduate.
- 2-3years of experience preferred in documentation review and account maintenance.
- Capable of multi-tasking and eager to learn in a challenging environment.
- Fast learner and strong attention to detail.
- Independent and analytical team player with good communication skills.

**Salary**: From $2,500.00 per month
