**Your background**
- 2 - 8 years of relevant work experience

**What you can expect**
Vice President in Public Policy, based in Singapore, you will be required to support the company’s business objectives in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and will be part of the International Public Policy team, you will report to the Head of International Government Relations and International ESG Policy.
You will be contributing to the execution and monitoring of public policy activity within APAC in coordination with the Public Policy SVP, also based in Singapore, and the international Public Policy group. You will be monitoring ESG policy in the region and supporting internal stakeholders in their outreach activity to trade associations and external stakeholders. Assisting the international public policy group with various public policy related topics
**What you will do**
- **Issues management**. Mapping of public policy and regulatory issues of relevance to Bank of America’s business across the APAC region as well as issues relevant for Bank of America as a major global financial institution that might emerge from the region; identifying new issues on an ongoing basis; prioritising the issues; monitoring and reporting on developments. This should explicitly - and in depth - cover regulatory developments in relation to ESG.
- ** Political and policy monitoring**. Following general political and policy trends across the APAC region, analysing and reporting on how these might impact on Bank of America’s prioritised regulatory issues.
- ** Analysis and advocacy. **Assist in developing advocacy strategies, plans and positions to ensure positive positioning of Bank of America among regulatory and ESG circles across APAC, as well as effective engagement on the key regulatory and public policy issues important to Bank of America’s business. Produce quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as help draft advocacy material (presentations, position papers, message books, speeches, and other outreach material) to get Bank of America’s messages across effectively.
- ** Outreach coordination**. Assist with the practical implementation of Bank of America’s APAC government relations activities, including involvement with industry associations or other networking groups, participating in the organisation of Bank of America-sponsored events, and meeting organisation and logistics for senior Bank of America executives. Drafting of background briefings, messages and - as required - speeches to prepare the participation of senior executives at these occasions.
- ** Global collaboration.** Participate actively in the global agenda and tasks of the International Government Relations and ESG Policy Team at Bank of America. This will, from time to time, require participating in shared projects of global significance that need to be delivered by the team collectively.
