DESIGNATION : Senior Manager, Office of Programme Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strengthen SMU organization performance management approach through the setting and tracking of objectives and targets that measure strategic and operational performances, sense-making, and reporting on the University’s progress.
- Develop and operationalise a strategic planning framework for the University.
- Support the executive leadership and senior management team in strategic discussions for the development of the University’s future strategic plans. This will include logístical arrangements, secretariat support preparation of agenda materials etc.
- Working with senior leadership, senior management team and colleagues across campus to integrate and align units’ business strategies into a connected University’s strategic plan.
- Provide planning support and advice to units on campus where required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with more than 8 years working experience.
- Experienced in planning functions and/or secretariat functions.
- Background in education policy, or working experience with education agencies, institutions of higher learning.
- Researching, critical thinking, ability to draw linkages and integrate information from various sources, analyse, assess, and evaluate issues comprehensively, and present viable options.
- Strong communicator, both written and spoken.
- Experience with preparation of major strategic planning and/or organisational reporting documents.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and databases is required.
