The management team at Kempus is searching for an entrepreneurial SVP People and Operations who can move fast while building a people first company culture driven by performance.
Our goal is to build a team and company culture that champions craftsmanship and failing forward. We will work together to shape the future of how students connect with each other, share ideas, and build a successful future.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for hiring new employees, HR-related partnership with agencies, developing training programs, and improving employee retention rates
- Responsible for coming up with and managing overall strategy for people operations
- Support the management team to bring all functions within human resources together into one cohesive unit that supports company business goals
- Set HR-related policies according to company objectives
- Research and launch internal promoting programs related to employee well-being
- Develop and guide organisational effectiveness, proactive talent planning, change management and conflict resolution
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation through collaboration to drive business initiatives
**Basic qualifications**:
- 10+ years of work experience involving strategic planning around People & Talent
- 5+ years experience in a senior leadership or managerial role
- In depth experience related to talent acquisition and processes
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
- Outstanding communication and people skills
