Job Description & Requirements
- Assist in receiving of new acquisitions into HCC
- Assist in updating collection related information into the Singapore Collections Management System (SCMS) and ACTS
- Assist in exhibition support e.g. retrieval of artefacts for viewing, supervise packing, etc.
- Manage the supply and storage of materials for packing and storage, including sourcing for suppliers
- Manage and create RFID tags
- Assist projects in permanent collections stores or conservation labs
- Assist in liaising with appointed contractor and assist in setting up fumigation bubble
- Assist in basic cleaning of artefacts after fumigation with art-handlers
- Assist in liaising with waste collector to dispose of unwanted materials regularly
- Assist in sourcing for vendors to fix Collections Management fixed assets and equipment
- Assist in artefact handling and movement during internal stocktake exercise
- Assist in New Acquisition Condition Assessment related support work
- Assist in routine preventive conservation checks and projects
- Assist in storage projects
- Inventorying of equipment/ fixed assets/ furnishing
- Participate in e-registry organising and filling duty
- Any other related work assigned

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,400.00 per month
