Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Process Control Domain (PCD) IT Engineer to be based in our Singapore office. The role will be working across greenfields oil & gas project to manage the main automation contractor (MAC) producing the project PCD-IT design documentation. In this role you will review documentation against client and industry standards, coordinate and manage vendors providing PCD equipment, and liaise with client and other discipline leads and package engineers as required.

Accountabilities of the role:

- Perform technical reviews of PCD-IT design documentation
- Manage PCD-IT design vendor (MAC)
- Coordination of overall project PCD-IT system delivery
- Review of mechanical and electrical package specifications to include PCD-IT requirements
- Distribution and enforcement of PCD-IT design requirements to other vendors providing PCD equipment
- Technical bid clarifications and evaluations related to PCD-IT equipment
- Technical review of tie-in of PCD-IT greenfields project tie-in to existing systems
- Arrange PCD-IT risk assessments and design reviews, and track action items through to closeout
- Progress tracking and reporting
- Liaison and interface with client, other disciplines and package engineers

Skills / Qualifications:
It takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact Wood has on the global energy sector. As a member of the team you will demonstrate:

- 10+ years’ experience with process control domain IT systems
- Cyber security qualification preferred however not essential
- Oil and Gas industry experience
- Strong understanding of PCD-IT industry standards
- Understanding of various control system architectures
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate with different disciplines
- Experience working on process facilities with a safety culture
