This role will carry out industry value chain and business feasibility analysis, participate in the business growth and development projects to support senior leadership team in its decision making.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and potential business risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business strategies with organization goals.
- Present and recommend strategic improvements to senior management, substantiate with market data and information.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, commercial and other teams to drive integrated planning and execution.
- Prepare and present regular industry market reports to senior management.
- Prepare and present reports on the status of business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support business transition and development projects, including taking on execution responsibilities. Maintain and cultivate good relationship with existing and potential associates/customers through regular communication.
- Degree in Business Administration / Management / maritime, Engineering with commercial (Finance, Marketing, Accounting) discipline
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, strategy development, business analyst, marketing, or commercial functions.
- Experience in marine, offshore engineering and/or ship building is an advantage
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in utilizing Excel for data analysis and modeling.
- Capable of creating professional and polished PowerPoint decks for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce and Python, would be a plus.
- Possess commercial acumen
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Possess strategic thinking mindset with the ability to identify trends and market dynamics.
