**Job description**

A great opportunity has arisen to join our busy Agency Team based in Singapore.
You will be responsible for preparation and setting up of vessels in accordance with QA requirements and utilisation of in-house agency system, executing any tasks accordingly to lawful and ethical standards in line with company procedures and guidelines.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Attend to vessel boarding and visiting as required, coordinating vessels' husbandry calls, cargo operations and preparation and completion of relevant shipping documentation as appropriate.
- Communicating with principals, harbour authorities, service companies and other associated parties in a timely manner to meet requirements given.
- Advise local Customs, Immigration office and other relevant agencies/officials of vessels' arrival and crew transfers.
- Liaise with ships' Captains for arrival, sailing information and gather all relevant documentation.
- To provide out of hours office cover when required.
**About you**
- Minimum of at least 3 credits in GCE O Level or Diploma in Maritime Studies
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience of delivering excellent client focused service.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain focus.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate manual and electronic records and filing systems
- Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to seek ways to improve and promote quality.
- IT literacy including knowledge of MS Word/Excel and Outlook
- Team worker with the ability to work collaboratively and ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to work outside office hours.
