Located in an IB global centre, the HR Associate provides support to the Head of HR, while also having complete responsibility for its own tasks and project areas, related to global projects and initiatives. Overall, it ensures that HR practices are delivered correctly for the region, responsible for some key HR functions (learning & development, employee engagement, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and claims management) as assigned. As a member of the HR Team, this role is accountable for up to date HR data and supports of data privacy and confidentiality of data.

Besides regional HR related work, this role actively participates in and contributes to designated global projects and/or initiatives.

**Responsibilities**
- Full responsibility for designated HR functions (learning & development, employee engagement, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and claims management) working collaboratively with global HR, where applicable.
- Support regional HR team on general HR processes and HR data as required (joiners/leavers, recruitment, data maintenance etc.)
- Act as the regional representative in global projects and initiatives, working across HR teams such as planning, implementing and optimizing HR service delivery in HR areas as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in HR or equivalent experience; with recognised local industry-standard HR qualification or part qualification. ACTA, ACLP or DACE certified is advantageous.
- Adequate experience in some HR functions as required, such as learning & development, HR process delivery, HR data and data privacy maintenance etc.
- Have some working knowledge of a HRIS.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Positive and can-do approach to work.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
